Strategy
Ironline Command
★★★★☆ 4.4
Ironline Command flips the usual mobile strategy formula. Instead of just throwing units at the enemy, you're constantly watching fuel, ammo, and routes. A push that outruns its supply simply grinds to a halt, which forces you to think two moves ahead.
It takes a mission or two to click, but once it does, the planning phase becomes the best part. Pausing to reroute a convoy and watching it save a stalled advance feels great. The touch controls are mostly good, though I'd recommend tablet play for the busier maps.
If you're new, start on the shorter skirmish maps to learn how terrain affects movement speed. The campaign assumes you already understand that, and I lost a couple of early missions before it sank in.
What we liked
- Supply logistics that genuinely matter
- Satisfying pause-and-plan moments
- Deep skirmish mode for quick games
