Lantern Hollow

Lantern Hollow is a gentle adventure game that trusts you to explore. You wander a small village and its surrounding woods, solving light environmental puzzles and piecing together why the place comes alive only after dark. There's no combat and no timer — just atmosphere.

The art is the real star. Every screen is hand-drawn, and the way lanterns flicker and shadows shift makes simple rooms feel alive. Controls are tap-to-move with the occasional drag puzzle, all very forgiving.

It's a short game, maybe four or five hours, but it stuck with me afterwards. If you've been playing something stressful, this is a lovely palate cleanser. Take your time and poke at everything — the best moments are optional.
